Come for the farm veggies, fruits and flowers, but don't miss the bakery section. Sourdough bread and blueberry scones are my go-to's. Great hosts gifts, both edible and non. Soups-delicious! Expensive? Yeah, but you're supporting a fabulously professional/knowledgeable(and lovely) family-run business, everything is QUALITY x a Million and if you have a little time you can sit outside at a picnic table with a cup of their excellent coffee and enjoy the glory of our beautiful North Shore.
Stopped by early on a Saturday morning and the place was already packed with customers. They have a good variety of baked breads, pies, loaves, etc. If you're looking for something in particular, they should have it or something close to it. The space can get a bit crowded so I suggest going with someone to help carry items. My favorite was the peach cake and peach jam! I'll try their blueberry biscuit the next time I visit!
Rainy day and festivals are getting rained out. This is about 30 minutes away and decided to take a drive over. They're literally 5 minutes off a major intersection. Beautiful farm, lots of vegetables, jams and baked goods. Ended up getting some soups, cheese and other delicious treats. Cute Knick knacks and seasonal decorations. Everyone was so friendly and nice. We'll be back for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Only knock is they are a little pricy.
This is a very nice place with lots of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as soups, pies and cookies, breads, honey, jams, cute handmade household goods, spices and more. People who work there are very nice. Certainly recommend.
Tucked away on Hegemans Lane is the cutest Young's Farm. The staff was so friendly. The produce is so fresh and vibrant. They're stocked with endless pies, soups, juices and other baked goods. I wanted to buy everything in sight. I came home with more than I intended to but I don't regret it. I wish I had taken pictures of the quaint market but take my word this is a must visit
Discovered this place recently & have gone almost 4 days in a row! That's how good It is! Fresh produce, EXCELLENT refrigerated dips, yummy pastries (tried the chocolate cake, pies, cookies), and such good baked bread (highly recommend the olive & tomato bread-so good. Love grabbing a coffee (usually not a fan of cold brew but theirs is subtle & delish) and sitting outside on the benches. Super relaxed & beautiful property
My son goes to school nearby so I have been coming here for about 7 years now. I just love this place. Keep up the good work!
Made a pit stop for some dessert after having delicious bbq at Stuey's. There sign said pies so we needed to try! Plenty of staff in the barnhouse-like store that wete all friendly (especially the adorable grnadma's in aprons behind the baked goods section. Asked for their two most popular pies - peach and dark cherry. We got the 18" dark cherry, took it outside to a bench and immediately dug in. I personally do not like cherry flavored anything except the fruit itself. Their pie though - Yum yummy in my tummy! The crust was just the right amount of flakiness, cherry flavor didn't taste like medicine, and sweetness level just right. I did not get to try the peach but I'd definitely return for the cherry!
Love everything about this place! Fresh bread, delicious baked goods, awesome produce. I wish every town had a farm like Youngs. I also appreciate the glassware- they always have something beautiful to take home. Worth the trip!
This is a gem in the heart of Greenvale/Roslyn. When I walk into Young's, I feel like I'm out east - it's a taste of the North Fork conveniently located on the North Shore of Nassau County. I work nearby and always grab cookies/sweets for in office celebrations. The sugar cookies are always a massive hit (plus they're adorable). The brownies are also a crowd pleaser. I recommend popping in to treat yourself, but especially for the holidays - your friends and family will not only enjoy the goodies, but the presentation is also top notch!
